What is Wwitchgear
Switchgear is widely used in various occasions such as power plants, substations, petrochemical industry, metallurgical steel rolling, light industry and textile, factories and mines, residential areas, high-rise buildings, etc.
Basic knowledge of 10kV distribution transformer
Distribution transformer, referred to as "distribution transformer", refers to a static electrical appliance that transforms AC voltage and current according to the law of electromagnetic induction in the power distribution system to transmit AC power.
Advantages and disadvantages of dry-type transformers and oil-immersed transformers
Dry transformers are required in comprehensive buildings (basements, floors, roofs, etc.) and densely populated fields. The oil transformer is used in an independent substation.
Why do transformers use silicon steel sheets as cores?
Commonly used transformer cores are generally made of silicon steel sheets. Silicon steel is a kind of silicon (also called silicon) steel, with a silicon content of 0.8 to 4.8%. The core of the transformer is made of silicon steel because silicon steel itself is a magnetic substance with strong magnetic permeability. In the energized coil, it can produce a larger magnetic induction intensity, which can reduce the size of the transformer.
